It was built in the late 19th century by maharajah Madho Singh of jaipur. This castle is located 4 kms north-east of sawai madhopur. A hunting lodge specially for the guests of the rulers of jaipur. It is like a castle out of a fairy tale, situated on a hill and surrounded with the green forests. But now it is rehabilitated into a hotel and run by the rtdc. A wonderfully furnished lounge with a fire place and a bar add to the ambience of the place and transport one in time to the days of Shikar camps.
